Název: Functional Developer – OCaml, Haskell, C++ - Work on compliers! Prague or London!!

Be one of the first Functional Developers on the Czech market with a great career future in investment banking across global markets! Join our client’s new development centre in Prague as the first Quantitative Developer focused in functional programming where you will work on projects using Haskell, OCaml, F# or Scheme. Alternately you can work out of the London offices! You will be backed up with extensive training in the UK to be part of a pioneer project using functional development. This is a great opportunity to be part of a niche market with roughly only 200 experts worldwide!

Responsibilities will include working with a remote team located in London and set a base for creating a new team in Prague focusing on functional programming within quantitative analysis (QA), developing, optimizing, and re-engineering the QA library used by investors.

Requirements will include very strong numerical skills with an educational background ideally in Mathematics, Physics, Computer science or similar. Experience in numerical methods is a must with an understanding of algorithmic complexity. Minimum of 3+ years development experience using functional language techniques (experience with Haskell, OCaml, Standard ML, F#, or Scheme). Knowledge of large functional programs is welcomed plus past working experience with Perl and Unix-style toolchains.
