Requirements:
• Minimally 1 year of commercial experience in a LAN/WAN administrator/management role
• General knowledge and/or an education in IT
• A good understanding of active network components - switches, hubs, routers
• Personality fit: customer-oriented, organized, neat, flexible, desire to learn, diligent, responsible, reliable, accurate, hard worker, team player, communicative, entrepreneurial, understands the concept of service
• Class B driver’s license
• Native Czech and a communicative level of English; all other languages are pluses
• Minimally finished high school
• Desired but not mandatory: experience as a 1st line support, customer care, or helpdesk specialist/operator/engineer, a university degree in IT or Computer Science or related field
Job Details: You will be…
• travelling (up to 4 out of 5 days per week), by car, throughout the Czech and Slovak Republics to client sites to provide onsite network support
o may involve occasional overnight trips
• receiving requests from customers, evidencing, and addressing these requests
• configuring IP PBXs, IP phones, and media gateways
• setting service parameters according to the needs of the clients
• providing technical and administrative support for customers
• monitoring service and providing prompt professional response when necessary
• continuously improving the processes that lead to more satisfied customers
• working on email migration, networking, firewalling (security), integration, and implementation
