Take an ambitious career move to join one of the most advanced financial projects in investment banking for the CEE Region. You will take control and build a team of 5 C++ specialists focusing on new development in the area of quantitative development for one of the largest investment banks globally. This great opportunity offers a position for a senior developer with a tech lead experience on mentoring, managing, and reporting team progress on dynamic, fast paced projects within investment banking.
Your initial responsibilities will include reporting to a remote team located in the UK and be involved in the hiring process of building a successful C++ development team for Prague. Focus will be on past management skills, excellent communication in English and strong experience programming in C++ (and also VC++). Working on the full development lifecycle of software is essential. Coming from a large, international, fast changing environment will also be helpful.
Requirements will include a minimum of 4+ year’s commercial experience in development on C++ with a proven track record of team leading. Additional knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages will be needed. Strong academical background in computer science, math or physics is a strong advantage. Past project experience focusing on low level programming will come in handy as well as working with large C++ class libraries.
